Well, I bought myself my very own laptop a month or so ago so, that means TIME TO START RECORDING I got my recording program up, now I just have to wait until my SM-57 gets here so I can start recording.

I was wondering though. Since my laptop only has 1/8 jack, do you think it would be better to upgrade my soundcard to one with a 1/4 jack or get a cable that has a 1/4 jack and then get an adapter that goes to a 1/8 jack?
